Before we begin your body fat dissolving injection treatment at our Stoke-on-Trent clinic, our expert, Umehra, will evaluate you. This evaluation includes a thorough consultation consisting of a comprehensive medical assessment and a patch test. If everything is satisfactory, you will be able to start your treatment as early as the following day.
The procedure itself typically lasts around 30 minutes, and the recovery time is estimated to be 7 days. No anesthesia is required during the procedure. However, it’s important to note that there may be some potential side effects, such as bruising, swelling, skin discoloration, and tenderness.

Unless you have any skin diseases or infections in the targeted area, and your overall health is generally good, there are limited medical grounds to discourage you from undergoing Aqualyx fat dissolving injections treatment.
Nevertheless, it is advised against using Aqualyx® if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Additionally, individuals diagnosed with lipodystrophy or those who are immunocompromised, including those with type 1 diabetes, should also avoid this treatment.
The results of an Aqualyx® fat dissolving injections treatment are permanent as long as you maintain a constant weight measurement i.e. you eat healthily, exercise regularly, and do not gain weight.

Do not apply any cosmetics to the treated area within a 12-hour period.
